Thursday Thoughts - Relaxation
Journal Prompt – Allow yourself to be lazy. It’s okay to “do” nothing. Take a break! Write about how it makes you feel to do nothing.
Everyone is different.
I’ve experienced both sides of doing nothing; I’ve felt horrible and unproductive, and I’ve felt pure bliss doing nothing. The fact that we feel the need to fill every minute of our days is troubling. We have forgotten how to be with ourselves. Just simply being and doing absolutely nothing.
Writing about how doing nothing makes you feel is a way to process why you feel the way you do. Is there a root reason as to why you feel bad doing nothing? It’s a healing journey.
