Thursday Thoughts - Boundaries
Journal Prompt – Set boundaries. Protect your precious time and energy. Setting boundaries doesn’t always have to be with people, you can set boundaries with certain things you do or even social media. Unplug, take a break. Give your mind a rest. Do the things that make you happy and surround yourself with people that bring you joy. Write about the people and the things you love with this entry!
In this last year I have had to set boundaries with certain people, and it seems by doing so I’ve been given so many new and amazing opportunities. It’s funny what happens when you start doing things for yourself for once! By only surrounding myself with people who uplift me I am feeling more grateful, happy, and abundant.
With being a small business owner and opening up a store it’s near impossible to have a break from the online world, but I do make sure to give myself time away from the screens, it helps to focus my mind. Making a schedule for yourself really helps, like setting time blocks to do certain things so you don’t get wrapped up in one thing for an entire day and drain yourself. Mental health matters!
